Hey, are you sitting down? Hang on to your seat. I have a really important confession to make.
How do I say this? OK, I’ll just blurt it out.
I’m having an affair! I can hear you: “What?”
Yeah, I know; hard to believe.
It’s a rather awesome love affair really. Please let me explain.
You see, He really gets me. He understands me like no one else. It’s like He knows what I’m thinking, what I’m feeling all the time. He sees right through me. He still pursues me. It’s pure exhilaration being pursued by one so wonderful.
He says I’m beautiful, that I am valuable, that I matter, that I am precious, that I’m His. He says I’m good, that I am His treasure.
He is so good to me. He showers me with gifts that are perfect for me — undeserved gifts. He knows what I need and want before I ask. He messages me every day with sweet words that fill me throughout the day. They truly make my day great.
There are days when I don’t open His messages. I get busy or I just forget. I don’t reply back. Then I feel like something is missing and remember I have messages waiting for me. He’s waiting to hear from me. You would think that He would give up on me. But He is there patiently waiting for me and thrilled to hear from me. He never turns away from me. He is so faithful.
He loves me for who I am. When I do things that displease Him, instead of getting angry, He shows me compassion and mercy. He is gentle. He gives me time. He waits for me to realize where I am wrong. When I am ready, He lovingly forgives me. He accepts me, failures, flaws and all. He is kind, patient and forgiving. He says the hard stuff with immense love. He always speaks truth.
He is amazing. He shows up right when I least expect Him. It’s like I am never alone. He never withholds Himself from me. When He embraces me, I feel so safe, so comforted, so loved. He overwhelms me with peace and joy. He fills my whole being. He stirs such passion in me because He is so passionate. He makes me want to be a better woman. I desire to please Him and give myself completely to Him. He consumes my every thought. All I want is to be with Him. He is my life! When we are together, I feel like a silly schoolgirl. I am elated to be in His presence. Oh, how He brings out the best in me.
He is willing to give all of Himself for me. As a matter of fact, He did. He gave all that He is just to be with me. That’s how much He loves me. He completely, totally and unconditionally loves me.
This affair is too good to keep to myself. I’d love for you to meet the object of my passion. His name is Jesus, and He wants to meet you too. He is the lover of my soul and your soul! He has plenty of love to share.
I am happy to share Him with you. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I guarantee He’ll be the best thing that has ever happened to you. Don’t delay; time is short. He’s coming back, and if you haven’t met Him, you won’t be able to go with us to our eternal home. He’s prepared a place for us far beyond our imagination. It’s going to be great. I hope you will join us soon.
